What I got here is a compilation release, the story so far, of DreamerProject, aka Norwegian musician Kjetil Ingenbrigtsen. The 72-minute “Beyond Dreams” contains 13 tracks in remastered or remixed form as well as three exclusive new tracks I’d classify as warm, feel-good, easy-going and highly accessible electronic chill-out. The original pieces can be found on the albums “The Road to your Heart”, “Visions”, “Voyage” remixes and “Horizons” remixes. Sonically it wanders in the same territory as Amethystium, Deep Sky Divers, Tommy Sachariasen and alike spreading an overall positive feel through its general-melodic songs. Aside from these there’s the beat-driven “Voyage Pt. 7 Real World remix”, a contemporary dance track that’s out of place here. Though not up my personal alley, “Beyond Dreams” is for you when traditional electronic music as well as new age and chill-out tick the boxes for you I reckon. Next to the cd-r the music is also available as 16bit and 24bit download.
