Enterphase – Phase One
CD, AD Music, 1994

On “Phase One”, Enterphase is an electronic space project made up by the American duo Fred Becker and Jeff Filbert. The duo came with the group of import electronic music from the US such as Mark Dwane, Geodesium, Jonn Serrie and Michael Stearns. Enterphase found a most welcome ear in Europe while at the same being picked up by David Wright’s AD-label.

“Phase One” is an album containing a nice range of atmospheric, sequenced cosmic music, serene and imaginative, executed in an eclectic, occasionally free form but overall improvised style. The final two tracks on the album feature a much more pronounced sequencer pattern with somorphous pads hovering over it. It makes great mood and serene music with spacious sound effects that gently takes the listener out into the great beyond. All in all, “Phase One” is a must-have for space music fans.

Allthough the initial factory-pressed cd is no longer available, AD Music still offers the albums music both as digital download and cd-r.
