Javi’s album “In this moment, in this place” contains one continuous track of 70 minutes, which is actually a live recording from a concert Javi performed on July 18, 2009 at the Sauzal’s Cultural Centre.
For it, he imagined one long track with a very powerful sound, which would be varied but cohesive all the way, despite its length.
Well, the outcome indeed is a compelling tour-the-force of sequencer-driven electronics which much will love. Let there be no doubt this high-energy ride through the vast landscape of Berliner School inspired music is a must-have for any fan of the genre.
The album is available as download from MusicZeit.
