After a hiatus of over ten years, the English band OYC shows up again in their 3rd reincarnation, made up of original members Andrew Hulme, Roger Horberry and new additional member Rob Jenkins.
The sound of their fifth studio album “The Euphoria of Disobedience” investigates the rough, sometimes slightly distorted sonic boundaries of multilayered ambient textures with less ethnic flavours as heard on their previous recordings.

The spacious, quiet soundscapes on the album reflect a distinct sense of organic, almost shivering flavours, painting visions of deserted, isolated places and total emptiness as far as the eyes can see. An edgy “dirty ambient” recording for the experienced ambient ear.

The album is released as MP3 download and as a numbered limited edition of 1000 copies which are only available through the band website.
