While listening to this fine cd, one almost has to think of some form of Fripp/Eno project, but then in a more spaced-out, floating manner. Mr Weingarten contributes some great sliding and well crafted guitar works to the very nice woven ambient textures and soundscapes of Mr Fang.
The music, slowly evolved in a period of five years of hard work, nicely shift and changes in texture while some kind of trance-like groove as outcome. The subtle minimalism & high quality production of this work makes the whole recording stand out even more.
