Fans of dub-style ambient will be much pleased with this second EP of Frank Vilbæk Jensen aka SecondFace, released as free download on the Cold Fiction netlabel. The four tracks on “Changes” create comfortable, deep spheres while minimal sequencers and beats lead things forward in a gentle, unaccomplished and unhurried manner. Things start mellow-active on “Emotional Changes” but blurr into free floating and emotive currents on the spacious “Silent Suffering”. The next shift takes the listeners into the smooth SciFi worlds of “Visions” and its lovely moulded Dome-mix version. |
