“Night Light” brings six lengthy tracks where lush swirling soundscapes hover over long strings of smooth pulsating, minimalist sequencer patterns. Brennan’s aural signature is all over the place as is vintage vibe showing up now and then in the imaginary but also sustained dynamic outcome. In a way “Night Lights” is mood music that takes the listener out there in an easy-going kind of fashion while a subtle, subdued dynamic vibe surfaces on and off during the recording like e.g. on part 5). However, I feel the sequences on “Night Lights” are a bit too similar to my taste.
