Dream Jungle is an electronic-ambient-groove project founded by North Bay Area artist and musician Dwight Loop. The latter invited vocalist Taressa Bell to join him on the band’s debut album “Lucid”. The outcome is a sparkling sonic journey into the mystic imagination and uncharted mystery, presenting moody chill-out and trance-inducing music with a pleasant tribal edge. Dwight’s inspired electronics and sample magic are accompanied by catchy and varied world rhythms patterns next to Taressa’s ecstatic, often wordless vocals, making things easily venture into evocative and exotic realms. The excellent sound quality of the spacious, smooth and groovy soundings is another plus for this “trance tribal-spirit music” with sensuous and seductive undercurrents. |
