The journey into vast and sombre textural landscapes continues on Mon0’s album “Monolog”. This time, Mon0 (aka German composer Andre Zufall) has created an even deeper chill-out/dubtech release: repetitive bass beats, spatial dronescapes, sequencer parts and an assortment of minimal structures and shapes lead the listener into dark, hypnotizing shades and unknown distant lands. The six long tracks, almost all clocking over 10 minutes, have an even more mesmerizing and hypnotizing impact when listening to them with a good pair of headphones.
