Like the previous Phobos-release, “One Moment Live” a live album recorded at UK’s Awakenings all dayer festival, but now the 12th October 2013 edition. This time though it’s a digital-only release featuring the full 46-minute performance but without any audience noise.
David Thompson here attempts to suck his audience into a world of darkness and give them some hope for the return to light at the end. What we actually get here is some new music paired with some moments from some older albums along a “revisited” track from “Darker”.
Imagine deep, darkened and vast textural ambient landscapes, slowly wandering through fascinating but most desolate territory. Once again, its highly cinematic quality makes it a real joy to immerse into these haunting, occasionally spooky caverns through headphones.
The music is available as free download from the Phobos Bandcamp site
