Tripswitch is a down-tempo project by English composer Nick Brennan. The press sheet revealed “Geometry” is the long-awaited follow-up of his 2005-release “Circuit Breaker”.
“Geometry” offers fresh, overall moody, airy and above all intricate electronic compositions with a great flow. There are occasional bits of lush guitars while the second track “Concentric Circles” (the highlight for me on the album) is beautifully accompanied by some velvet female vocals.
The keen merging of hypnotic and smoothly bouncing bass lines and refined rhythms on “Geometry” make up a pleasant outcome with dreamy undercurrents and imaginary ambiences.
