My attention was drawn to this UK artist and recording by my trusted friend Dan from Down Under with whom I had the privilege to do various audio projects successfully in the last decade. Pinpointed by its creator Nik Davies as “the perfect soundtrack for finding inner peace and tranquility in the midst of our busy lives”, the eight-track “Luminous” features angelic, lush, uplifting freeform ambient textural music of a spacious, immersive nature, taking us on a 41-minute trip through a constellation of shimmering, dreamlike spheres. Highlight for me are “Facing the Storm”, “Night Sky” and “Rings of Saturn”. Nice going, Nik! |
