In a world full of turmoil, it’s nice to sit back, find ease, and contemplate a bit. T Bruno Sanfilippo’s neo-classical works from the last decade tick a lot of boxes for that, which also applies to the piano-based “Colours Bloom”. There’s a relaxed, positive vibe embedded in the six emotive, tactile-sounding tracks making up this EP, which continue exploring melancholy, introspection, and calm. “Light on the Moss” and “Garden of Moments” both evoke harmony and a tranquil state of being, something also applying to “The Beauty of Now”. All in all, “Colours Bloom” offers nearly 16 minutes of charming simplicity, honesty, and introspection. |
