Let’s turn to some music with a vibrant, uplifting and contemporary sound design as well as expert mastering and production that I ran into as was investigation David Helpling’s discography. It appeared David helped producing as well as contributed two tracks of Eleon’s debut album “Dreams beyond Terra”, a music odyssey by Texas-based electronic composer Michael L. Rogers. The latter -also releasing mellow ambient chill as Time Traveler and his own name- coins Eleon’s music as a deep and lush electronic work unabashedly chill-step while steeped in the aesthetic of current EDM.
Well, the 56-minute highly melodic outcome certainly evokes a profound sense of cool and is easy going, featuring a slice of New Age dressed with poignant beats and an overall groovy character, some of it recalling Schiller’s older catchy instrumentals as well as the works of Australis, Stephan Erbe. This joyful yet bright music has the strong potential to be appreciated by a wide audience.
