Ian Boddy & Bernhard Wöstheinrich – Hemispheres

On invitation of the German Schallwende Club, 27th September 2008 saw Ian Boddy & Bernhard Wöstheinrich perform together for the first time at the Bochum Planetarium, Bochum, Germany.
Both musician previously collaborated on “Moiré” (2005) while Mr Wöstheinrich appeared on the DiN releases “Blast” by Centrozoon and “Präposition” by Subsonic Experience.

The 90+ minutes of music, presented in two seperate sets featuring five tracks each, sees Boddy & Wöstheinrich play a nice sonic journey that ventures “through deep space modulations and legato chordal flows via classic Berlin sequencer workouts and IDM melodic tracks finally landing at restful spaced out atmospheres” to cite the press sheet.

Well, let me just say both musicians really sound in good spirits, as I had no dull moment as the tracks went by like a continuous, energetic flow.

This recording has been mastered by Ian Boddy and released as a download only album on the DiNDDL label and MusicZeit.
