“The Light Beyond” is a live album, recorded at Chuck van Zyl’s Star’s End radio show after string master Jeff Pearce did a concert at The Gatherings in Philadelphia. The outcome is a engaging, continuous flow of freeform textural soundscapes, all created with a guitar and various processing devices. His expanding sonic journeys are something special, both emotional and reflective in nature, as they seem to reach out to the wonders and beauty among us.
