I must confess I lost interest in Mark Dwane’s music after his first few albums (which in my opinion started to repeat itself more and more after his second and third release), but I’m happy to see he has further developed his musical style after all.

“2012” is Mark’s ninth album, thematically based on Mayan lore and the end of time.
Although the album is a bit short (only 46 minutes!) Mark combines some excellent symphonic synthesizer layers with powerful guitar sounds, with some more quiet ambient excursions in between.
