Over the years, various musicians have taken their own take on Vangelis’ classic Blade Runner score. This also applies to Martin Stürtzer’s “Nexus-6”, a 58-minute travelogue recorded by the artist in August 2022. It takes the listener into a smooth evolving dystopian sound world submerged in eternal rain and accompanied by BR-sound effects, together envisioning a flight over Blade Runner cityscapes and beyond. It’s a magical world of bliss, longing, and calm that also works great on infinite playback. Make sure you don’t miss out on this quality space-ambient moodscape if you’re an avid fan like me who loves to indulge in V’s atmospheric landscapes, State Azure’s impressive “Nova Sonus”, and so on. Hats off, Martin! |
