This album was prepared to coincident with the solar eclipse in August 2026. The four extended tracks making up the 72-minute recording elevate the listener from the start to smooth curling, overtly lush and immersive expanses, with many subdued dynamics and intensities surfacing along the way. The calm reveal of the awe-inspired sonic elements also carries senses of mysticism and melancholy, something I also experienced within the profound sonic landscapes of Max’s previous record “The Gentle Continuum”. One might even experience these gentle, gracious, soft spiraling textural spheres as a contemplation on (the suspension) of time and stillness. It all makes a no-brainer for aficionados of profound ambient space music. Same as the previous album, Max also offers the album as a professionally made cd-r (that’s produced on demand).
