After a (creative?) pause, Mr Corbacho returns to the ambient-electronic scene with the 73-minute “The Gentle Continuum”, another steady but also familiar sounding soundscape recording. B ack are the calm, highly atmospheric textural spaces without any rhythm, all spiralling smoothly but surely into infinite distances. As before, there’s an profound immersive feel and emotive current embedded in the tapestries of expansive ambient realms that -it can’t be missed- reveal lots of similarities to Steve Roach’s tranquil, slow-motion works. Next to the download, Max also offers the album as a professionally made cd-r (that’s produced on demand). |
