Overtly serene, harmonic, and almost heavenly music comes your way on “The Abyss of Loneliness” by sound producer Eliam Weise, who founded Qeight back in 2015. The eight-track release, making up one hour of highly emotive as well as imaginary music, goes by like a slow, floating river of warm textures that are enriched by assorted nature sounds, ethereal vocal pads, piano, and the crispy sounds of, e.g., a fire burning. It makes up peaceful, dreamy, and meditative psy-chill that’s just a slight step away from New Age, but the painted atmospheres distinguish it from that due its high quality and profound, enchanting nature. All in all, sweet but nice. |
