As the Redshift site says, following the constant demand for extra print runs of the first “Wild” album, Redshift decided to create a full, commercial and this factory pressed cd of the next set previously unreleased tracks all recorded at different times during the band’s existence. More specific, the 69-minute “Wild 2”. features three studio sessions along two rehearsals. Aficionados of Redshift’s power electronics and fat Moog sounds already get the full treat on the near 20-minute opener “Fuel” while “Prime” as well as “Heaven is a Turquoise Avenger” take us back to the formative period of Redshift’s existence. What a lovely Berlin School tribute this is! Overall verdict: between 3.5 and 4 stars. |
