The style of Paderborn-based composer and music teacher Rüdiger Gleisberg is no typical electronic music as it integrates lots of classical, impressionist and symphonic elements along some minimalist ingredients. Piano as well as various environmental recordings play a significant part in Rüdiger’s orchestrated spacious, atmospheric works of strings and woodwinds. A track such as “Urban´s Psychedelic Breakfast” makes one think of Philip Glass quite easily, but it’s the implementation of Eastern flavors and compositional approach scattered all over the release giving it its own –sometimes even lyrical- voice. Check it out you like to try sometimes original and a tad different.
