Stefan Erbe’s music is known for its solidity, quality, and accessibility. And “Metamorphosys”, Stefan’s third multimedia story about his artificial intelligence GENE, is no exception to that. Melodic, hi-tech electronics are served on the 12-track outcome in typical “Erbe-style”, an attractive assemblage of sequences, soft soaring melodic lines and warm pads spiced with matching rhythms, all forming a spacious, catchy sound design. Expect no surprises, though, on this well-made recording, part of Mr Erbe’s ongoing pursuit of musical perfection. |
