Stephen Parsick – Fuzzstars – music for planetariums Vol. 2
CD-R, Private Release, 2008

“Fuzzstars” is Parsick’s second release of planetarium music, again released as a limited edition of only 25 copies.

As Stephen tells in the press sheet, the music is the outcome of a series of late night rehearsals and improvisations between November 2007 and January 2008 for several planetarium shows he has planned for 2008.

The eight assembled tracks delve in an ever expanding pool of textural ambience, taking the listener into the deep end of the universe as the gliding soundscapes and textural loops drift on and on.
The overall atmosphere is rather soothing and friendly, and is also quite appropriate to fall asleep/awaken with (as Stephen states himself).

As “Schwartzschild”, “Fuzzstars” is a great album for all those who love free form electronic space music that feels like an imaginary journey to the far-off boundaries out there.
Very nicely done, Stephen!
