Back in the day, Michael Weisser was a master at coming up with new concepts when he was working at the Innovative Communications label, and this release sure is one of them. For this 78-minute release, various appropriate tracks from the Symbian catalogue were selected, along with four tracks that Johan Geens (aka Venja) had made with the Symbian duo Peter De Backer and Johan Van Den Abeele. Symbian was known for its music, not straying far from the classic Vangelis sound. Well, a slow evolving and warm sonic blanket of calm and harmony is what awaits the listener; it’s an enchanting world of smooth soundscapes, light rhythms/beats, and lush melodies gently lifting body and spirit. The stress-relief album saw a re-release in 2003 entitled “Wellness for your Spirit” with a full new cover design. |
