What I got here is some introspective ambient created by UK’s Dennis Huddleston, aka 36. The nine-part sonic journey sketches out a vast, highly immersive textural landscape that proves deeply meditative and emotive as well as full of subtle movement, sequenced parts, and swirling, subdued energy vibes. I though feel the slices of aural dissonance (e.g., in Pt 7 and 8), waves of noise, and some weird sample food flying by occasionally in here are distracting. For me, they actually undermine quite some of the created harmonic spheres. In the end, and after a couple of more spins, I am still in two minds about whether it works for me and whether I like it or not.
