KEN DAVIES
Floating Galaxy
CD-R, Pattisan Records, 2007
Ken Davis is a Mississippi based musician, who already got several releases in different genres under his belt.

The 70 minute "Floating Galaxy" is his attempt to compose a space music album of elegant, electronic ambient music.
The album starts out with the two-fold title track, which sounds very simple with its flat and meagre preset sounds. This doesn’t change much during the whole album.

Another annoying thing is this obvious not very skilled musician is constantly tweaking all these that fancy sounds, which seem to be derived from one and the same standard keyboard.
All in all, a totally boring amateur recording.
