Deepspace is the moniker of the Australian musician Mirko Ruckels, who has established himself as a mature composer of well-rendered electronic space music in a short period of time.
This album is offered for free as a "thank you" to the Last FM fans and all others who bought one of his previous albums or supported Mirko in another manner.
"Another Empty Galaxy" contains one continuous track lasting almost an hour, which fans of deep cosmic music will like a lot. Flowing, warm, free form soundscapes are accompanied by the grand design of symphonic/orchestral textures and fx’s, taking off for a galactic ride into the depths of the space.
There are lost of nuances and details infused in the sound design, visiting both the light and darker corners of the world out there.
This ambient space music works even better when listened through headphones, creating an uplifting, highly cinematic and at times even hypnotizing experience. Nicely done, Mirko!
